Adonai Is My Shepherd - Lyrics: Psalm 23, Music: D. Maseng

Mizmor L’David. Adonai ro’i lo echssar bin’ot desheh yarbitzeini, ahl mei m’nuchot yenahaleini

A psalm of David. Adonai is my shepherd – I lack nothing! He lays me down in green pastures, He guides me by calm waters

Nahfshi yeshovev, yahncheini b’ma’ahglei tzedek l’ma’ahn sh’mo

He revives my soul; he drives me in circles of righteousness for the sake of his name

Gahm ki elech b’gei tzalmahvet lo irah rah ki attah imahdi

Even as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for you are with me

Shivtehcha umishahntecha hemah yenachamuni

Your staff and your rod comfort me

Ta’ahroch lefanai shulchan negged tzorerai

You set before me a table opposing my enemies

Dishantah bashemen roshi - kossi revahyah

You have anointed my head with oil - my cup overflows

Ach tov vahchessed yirdefuni kol yemei chayai

Only good and grace shall pursue me all the days of my life

Vehshavti b’veit Adonai l’orech yahmim

And I shall dwell in the house of Adonai to the end of days
